Madhusoodhanan.R and Varun Surapaneni (B.Tech. - 3rd Year)

For that, 33 government divested stocks and all IPOs issued during the period 2008 to 2012 were analyzed. Analysis of the price variation of stock for a period of one year (1, 3, 6, 12 months) from the date of their listing is done. After calculating return for each stock for each period, the average return was calculated and the number of stocks that had positive and negative return were found out. Similar analysis was carried out for the IPOs.
